Pomegranate Juice?

I’ve read and heard nothing but good about the health benefits of Pomegranate juice, but was wondering if there was anything bad about it…

Pomegranate Juice?
The peel of pomegranate has much astringent substances, which are not good in case of certain troubles of enteral tract. A part of them may go to juice.

This fruit is included also cautiously into certain very strict diets (of patients), only after doctor%26#039;s consultation.
Reply:IT STAINS CLOTHING if not wiped down with a wet rag quickly after dripping it
Reply:No, there%26#039;s nothing bad about pomegranate juice. The only thing you should be aware of is the calorie content per serving, because that could contribute unhealthily to your daily calorie intake if you aren%26#039;t careful.
Reply:Dont think any bad things. One thing though, it can stain clothes badly. Other than that its good.

How do i improve my bussines, new marketing ideas?

I have a floral and gift shop, and lately has become slow in sales, what kind of marketing can i do to improve the sales?

How do i improve my bussines, new marketing ideas?
Once a month give away the flowers that are not suitable for arrangements anymore. While they still look fine, but you know they would wilt really fast.

Advertise the flower give away. Just get more bodies into the store.

Teach flower arranging classes.
Reply:For any small business to survive today, they have to realize that their best assets for growth is their existing customers.

Start with a marketing plan that first works to increase sales from these customers. Direct mail is usually the easiest way of doing this, except most times to do it effectively you may find it not to be cost effective. What I recommend to my clients is to start of small, create a monthly feature. Something special that is happening at your business. It could be as simple as a Floral Arrangement Class you are offering at no charge, then call them and invite them to it. The possibilities are truly endless and starting with your existing customers is the best place to start

Anyways, that is my two cents worth.

Good luck

Did you know the secret of the pomegranate? Its proof of G-d's existance. Agree??

Every Rosh Hashanah, we eat a pomegranate. Its New Years on G-d%26#039;s calendar.

Every New Years, we are told to eat a %26quot;new fruit%26quot; and the 1st Rosh Hashanah they were told by G-d to eat a POMEGRANATE.

Did you know there are 613 laws (mikvah) in the Torah?

And 613 was and is a very holy number to Jews/Messianics.

And the pomegranate has...... 613 seeds.

Yes, every pomegranate.

This is how G-d speaks.

But Christians are too busy giving their money to pastors and trimming the pagan Christmas tree to learn these things that they should.

So...is this a pretty clear sign from G-d?

Do you think this is how He speaks to us? I do...

The %26quot;money%26quot; that you say Christians are %26quot;too busy giving to pastors%26quot; - is called a Tithe - it is in the Torah and the Bible. Instead of paying dues to be members of congregations, we take 10% out of every paycheck and offer it back to the L-RD G-d.

There is more to being a Christian, than you have obviously taken the time to learn. So, let me show you what I know about Judaism - because after all Jesus the Christ, and all His Disciples -- were and never denounced being Jews.

The two languages which are used in the original texts of the Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls are Hebrew and Greek. Each has an alphabet in which each letter also has a corresponding numeric value. So, you can literally %26#039;add%26#039; words together.

Reply:Persephone ate 6 seeds of the pomegranate when she was in the underworld, imprisoned by Hades. Usually the rule was Hades would not let anyone leave his kingdom who had eaten or drank anything there. Persephone%26#039;s mother,The Earth, begged so much that Hades had pity and made a compromise. Persephone was to be his bride 1 month for every seed she ate,and could return to her mother the rest of the year. That is why the earth is cold and barren for 6 months, and then warm and fruitful for 6 months. Because of the sorrow of the earth at being separated from her daughter . This proves that the ancient Greeks were the one true Pantheon of Gods. Please worship them.

Reply:the pomegranate does not always have exactly 613 seeds: its around 600, but the number will vary. it is an ancient fruit deeply embedded in the cultures that developed in the middle east.

all those 613 laws mustn%26#039;t matter too much if Moses needed to distill them down to 10 commandments. if that%26#039;s what god wanted, then it is patronizing to man, or at least to the Jews.

Reply:I agree that the Laws of the Torah are something we should be aware of in our walk with Messiah Yeshua. His death and resurrection free us from the penalty (death) that those Laws brought on us. How then should we continue breaking them?

But, David, the Pomegranate....well...I%26#039;m sorry, but ..........I tend to associate it more with the Song of Solomon...........so does that mean God wants us to think about.......breasts? First time I saw one in a grocery store, well, I looked at my wife and she looked at me....after 32 years she knows me pretty well..........and we both started laughing......sorry I can%26#039;t help it..........

What broom is best for sweeping up flowers?

I want to know what types of brooms are recommended for sweeping up wet and dry foliage. Not only for use outdoors, but indoors as well--such as a floral work shop.

What broom is best for sweeping up flowers?
Check out a website called %26quot;www.sweepa.com%26quot;. My friend, a hairdresser, uses this broom for her shop to sweep hair and dirt. I ordered one (around $25 + delivery) and I have been using it indoors and outdoors. They%26#039;re very good.

Or a standard large bristle %26quot;push%26quot; broom.. However, it%26#039;s difficult to sweep up wet foliage....

Pomegranate question?

How do you prepare a pomegranate? Do you only eat the seeds? My boyfriend bought one and have no clue what to do with it. No cocktail recipes please. We are having spinach salad for dinner with hard boiled eggs and bacon. Dessert is vanilla ice cream. Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Pomegranate question?
I like them stirred up with yogurt and granola. YUM!

And yes, you do eat the seeds. I use the %26quot;whack it with the back of the wooden spoon%26quot; method to get the seeds out.
Reply:you just peel it and eat it. i wouldn%26#039;t do anything else to it. if you have a pair of disposable latex gloves wear them. they really stain your hands and the actual juice will stain fabric. insert the tip of a knife into the top of it(where that crown thing is) and start to peel it. try not to squish it or it%26#039;ll get all leaky and stain everything. peel away the outer skin until you can actually braek it in half or in a section.... do not cut it with a knife. peel away the skin on the inside until you get to the red seeds. gently take out the seeds and remove all of the peel... it is very bitter. put it into a container and into the fridge. it tastes better cold but it%26#039;s not necessary. after your meal serve it at the same time you serve your ice cream. you can try sprinkeling some on your ice cream or in your spinach salad... but taste it first. you eat the whole red seed. enjoy
Reply:Pomegranate it traditionally eaten raw with the seeds (peel the skin, pick out the fruit-enveloped seed, chew and eat.)

Pomegranate is seeded when it is used in recipes as a juice or for jellies.
Reply:try this salad:

Spinach Salad with Dried Cranberries, walnuts and pomegranate vinaigrette

1/2 cup pomegranate juice

2 tablespoons white wine vinegar

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

Salt and ground black pepper

6 cups baby spinach leaves

1/3 cup dried cranberries

1/3 cup walnut pieces

In a small container with lid, combine pomegranate juice, vinegar, oil, and Dijon. Seal and shake to combine. Season, to taste, with salt and pepper.

Place spinach on a serving platter and top with cranberries and walnuts. Pour vinaigrette over spinach and serve.
Reply:Cut it in half, and it is best to do this in a bowl of water, you can run your thumb between flesh and seeds and they should pop out. The other option is to cut it open, hold it over a bowl and the hit it on the skin side on the back with a wooden spoon and the seed should pop out.

yes, you eat the seeds.
